ABOUT MIA
Originally from South Africa and now based in London for over 15 years, Mia is a creative force with an innate eye for aesthetic storytelling. Her journey began in sustainable fashion — styling unique looks sourced from charity shops and selling them on Depop, where she grew a loyal community of over 150K followers in just three years.
Building on her success, Mia launched Madseventies, a creative agency dedicated to producing visually striking, story-led content for brands. She’s collaborated with leading names such as Pasta Evangelists, The London Sock Company, and NIO Cocktails, while also partnering personally with brands like Urban Outfitters, Depop, and Hvisk.
Her creative flair extends beyond digital — during London Fashion Week, Mia hosted a panel talk on creating standout, sustainable looks on a budget, inspiring others to rethink fashion consumption. Around this time, she also introduced her own reworked blazer collection, loved by high-profile artists including Suki Waterhouse, Seye Adelekan (Gorillaz), and members of Metronomy. Each piece was a one-of-a-kind creation, designed and customised in collaboration with the wearer — merging craftsmanship with individuality.
Mia’s expertise naturally evolved into talent management and creative strategy, supporting both start-ups and established brands across fashion, lifestyle, and food. She’s helped new brands grow their audiences authentically and worked with larger names such as Liberty London, where she oversaw content creation, social strategy, and brand storytelling.
Most recently, Mia has collaborated with Paradise, a leading creative agency, as Talent Manager on campaigns such as Brutal Fruit x Pixie Lott, managing influencer partnerships from casting through to execution. She also supported their Casillero del Diablo campaign and continues to work with them on a freelance basis.
A true creative at heart, Mia excels in bringing brand stories to life — beautifully, authentically, and on any budget. She thrives on collaborating with founders to understand their vision and translate it into meaningful, visually captivating storytelling that resonates with audiences.
Mia’s mission is simple: to help brands grow creatively and connect emotionally — one story at a time.
